Affiliate Disclosure
This page exists so nothing about our funding requires guesswork.
How the desk earns
The Buyer's Docket is reader-funded through affiliate relationships. Links on this site marked as routes to the verified source lead, through a tracked redirect, to the official SlimTide storefront. If you place an order after using one of those links, the maker's affiliate program can pay Buyer's Docket Media LLC a commission. The commission is paid out of the seller's marketing budget; it is never added to your price, and the checkout total you see is identical with or without our link.
What the commission does not buy
It does not buy the verdict. The case file on our front page includes flags the maker would surely prefer we had left out, including the countdown timers on its own sales page. Those stayed in. Our review method is fixed before any affiliate relationship is considered, and no seller reviews, edits or previews our files. If a product failed our screen, the honest verdict would be the page, because a consumer-check site that cannot say scam has nothing to sell but its own credibility.
The legal frame
This disclosure is made in line with the Federal Trade Commission's Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising, 16 CFR Part 255. In short: a material connection exists between this site and the seller of SlimTide, and you are entitled to know that before you click anything.
Who runs this
The Buyer's Docket is published by Buyer's Docket Media LLC, Chattanooga, TN, established 2019. The SlimTide file is maintained by Marta Kilbride, Consumer Protection Editor. Questions about this policy reach us at [email protected].
One practical note
We are not the maker of SlimTide and cannot see or manage orders. For order questions, use the support contact printed on the official storefront where you purchased.
